What I Hope to Achieve After 100 Days of Testing

Author:

I am launching this 100-day baseline phase to finally see the hard data behind my daily choices. By the end of this period, I want a clear map of how my body reacts to the staples we see everywhere.

I’ll be heading to the nearest 7-Eleven, Uncle John’s, and even the local sari-sari store to test everything from budget meals to quick snacks. I want to know exactly what happens to my glucose when I grab a quick siopao or a pack of crackers on a busy day.

Data-Driven Weight Loss

Beyond the numbers on the meter, I’m curious to see if managing these spikes will naturally help me shed my current 77 kg. I want to discover if a “sugar-aware” lifestyle is the missing key to losing fat and feeling more energized.

For me, this isn’t just about a temporary diet or a short-term challenge. I’m looking for a sustainable path to a happier, healthier version of myself through pure observation.

A Lifetime Project

These first 100 days are just the beginning of what I consider a lifetime commitment to my health. While this phase focuses on baselines, I will continue tracking one food at a time indefinitely.

I want to build a personal encyclopedia of Filipino food responses that I can rely on for years to come. Ultimately, I hope this journey proves that taking control of my health starts with a single, daily prick.
